State level tennis cricket tournament : State cricket champion becomes Aligarh team defeated Sultanpur

Aligarh (AKK News): In the final of the state-level tennis tournament tournament run at Agrasen Inter College Harduaganj, Aligarh team defeated Sultanpur team to win the championship Trophy. The three-day tournament was concluded with the award distribution. The tournament was arranged in the boys and girls category.

Aligarh Girls’ Team is also Champion
Aligarh has also been the Team Champion of Aligarh in the girls’ category in the tournament organized by the Aligarh Cricket Association of Aligarh. Semi-finals were played between Lucknow-Aligarh and Hathras-Sultanpur. Among them, Aligarh, Lucknow and Sultanpur defeated the Hathras team and entered the final.

Lucknow team defeated
In the first semifinal, the Lucknow team batted first with 38 runs in eight overs. Aligarh team achieved the target in four overs. In the second semifinal, Sultanpur team scored 95 runs in eight overs, before playing. In response, the Hathras team could only manage only 50 runs in eight overs. Final match was done for 10 overs. Aligarh scored 93 runs in the first game. In reply, Sultanpur’s team could score 72 runs.

Winner and runner-up team rewarded
chief guest Association President Vivek Bansal, Special Guest Schools Sports Federation of India’s assistant secretary Kanhaiya Gurjar and college Principal Dr. Shambhu Dayal Rawat rewarded the winners and runners-up teams by offering trophy and memento. The program was moderated by District Olympic Association President Majhar-ul-Kamar. Neeraj Tiwari RN Yadav, Sanjay Sharma, Kanchan Raghav, Shashank Chaurasia, Charakku Dikshit, Raju Chaudhary, Satish Kumar, Gaurav Rajput etc. were present at the award distribution.
